Mission Harvest is a Facilitator Mission.  How Can we help you achieve your Mission?

History of Mission Harvest America, Inc.

Mission Harvest grew out of an organization called Christian Veterans Association (CVA) that was started by Dr. Dewey Painter.  In 1991 Dr. Painter and two friends, Dr. Fred Boyett and Mr. Richard Coale, were led by Dr. Painter's vision to have a Veterans Association based on Biblical Principles and they started the association. It was only natural that CVA be a service organization and the opportunities grew for CVA to serve others. At the start of Operation Desert Shield in 1991 they began to send "Share [care] Packages" to deployed military personnel.

In 1994 we started helping missionaries ship their supplies to the mission field. The effort to help missionaries grew fast as word spread that there was someone who cared and would work hard to find economical ways of getting the containers shipped and materials donated. In fact it grew so much that in 1997 the organization divided into two groups. CVA remained helping veterans and military personnel while the other group, now known as Mission Harvest America began to assist Missionaries, Churches and Agencies all over the globe. Since that beginning some 3600 missionaries, churches or groups have been assisted in 51 countries. Over 29 million pounds of materials have been shipped with a value in excess of 100 million dollars.

Mission Harvest is committed to providing Humanitarian Aid donations and networking with others to realize a global effort to present Jesus Christ as He is to men as they are through Missions.

Mission Harvest has responded to the needs of thousands of people in 54 countries and 46 states by providing logistical and material support to those in need.  From supporting the troops deployed into Harm's Way to providing relief to victims of hurricanes, Mission Harvest has provided assistance.

Mission Harvest has no paid employees.  With four full time Missionaries and a few volunteers Mission Harvest has received, processed and shipped over 27 million pounds of materials for humanitarian aid.  See About Us for more information on our Mission.

The foundation of Mission Harvest has been operating as if it all depended upon us, but knowing that it all depends upon the Lord.  We are thankful He has allowed us to serve.

Some people can help themselves, others need our help.  What can you do?

Mission Harvest provides shipments of humanitarian aid to meet global needs.

We need partners to help us with the costs of preparation and shipping. Ask about our Project 1000 which can be used to raise funds for a shipment of donated materials go to your mission field of choice.

Please Pray with us and help support the efforts to meet the needs of so many.  Those in need certainly look to those who have been so blessed to help them. We can do this with your support.

Supporting the Troops- Remember they are our troops and need our support.

Humanitarian Aid- The excesses of America enhance the life of the poor of many states and nations.

Water Filters-  Many Mission Medical teams provide medical treatment, however, they cannot give them clean pure water so that the medical problems don't come back. With the Mission Filter we can provide a family of five fresh clean pure water for one full year on just one kit.
