This truck was retired and is now
in Haiti waiting to be placed into service for the Lord there.
A Christian Friend in Georgia
overhauled the engine and the transmission was overhauled by
AMACO with a 90% discount |

Virgil Crosby came to us through
our Transition program. We worked with him for several years
Spiritually and with his mental difficulties. He had never had
his own bank account or many other things in life.
He graduated from our program, now
has his own bank account, has resettled in Georgia and is now
married to Brenda who helps complement him in many ways. We
have several others in our transition program now. |

One of
our long-term volunteers, Delores makes a difference each day
she is here. As materials are received we screen them for
quality and package or bale them for future shipment to missions
or issue to local or national mission or church projects.
We
need a full time volunteer supervisor for this area – a great
place for a retired or semi-retired person to send the best
years of their life serving the Lord. |

To reduce expenses we donated our
truck to a local church ministry that also does mission work in
Mexico. Brother Thomas Sparks uses the truck to carry items to
the mission field.
With the payoff of the truck we are
not under the pressure of a high monthly payment. Brother
Sparks surprised us by donating a smaller but similar truck to
us for our ministry. Now we have a truck without the monthly
payment. Praise the Lord. |

One of the greatest ways to share
the Gospel to the troops and to also place Christian materials
behind the lines is through the Care Packages we send each
month. To date over 60,200 have been sent since Desert Storm.
In each box are Gospel
Tracts, New Testaments or Bibles, Christian CD or Cassettes,
letters of encouragement, cards and very import SNACKS |

Loading out donated materials for
shipment to missionaries continues. This year we processed over
170 shipments, more than twice of what was done last year.
Already for 2010 we have several shipments in the planning and
three ready for release.
Many times we receive offers of
full truckloads of new items or food items but due to lack of
funds to transport to MHA Jacksonville we have to pass on the
offer. We are praying for an escrow fund that will allow us to
take advantage of these donations in 2010 |

The work to establish Mission
Harvest Liberia is moving forward. We have sent an invitation
to Trokon, a Liberian Christian, to come and work with us for
six months. He will return to Liberia after that time and help
us have an office in Monrovia, Liberia that we can ship
containers to for missionary support in Liberia. We ship from
us to us and therefore clear all the customs. This takes a great
burden off the national on foreign missionary in the country.
After clearing customs we can issue the donated materials where
most needed. We sent 100-person tent on the last container to
be used to start a new church and academy in the southwest part
of the country, an area where a great need of a Gospel witness. |
